The Popuplady, with a background in science and medicine, has always prized this book in her collection. Flap books were extensively used to study anatomy. They were especially useful to medical students since human dissection was outlawed to a great extent for much of the early 19th century. Volume 2 of this series is devoted to arteries, veins, nerves, and the lymphatic system.
