Paper Engineering: Fold, Pull, Pop & Turn

~How pop-up books are made~

I am so grateful that this video has been made to show the world what goes into making a pop-up and movable book. Kudos to Bruce Foster, the paper engineer, and Chuck Fischer, the illustrator, who with the polished professional help of Sean McGee, have produced a clear and complete picture of what goes into making these remarkable books. The video was produced for the opening of Paper Engineering: Fold, Pull, Pop & Turn, the Smithsonian Institution Librairies’ exhibit of the mechanisms used in movable paper books. The Popuplady invites you to view this video and be educated and in awe! Thank you, Smithsonian Libraries!
