Pop-ups in the News

Vojtěch Kubašta has been celebrated in two exhibitions curated by The Popuplady in 2014.
The first, at the Grolier Club in NYC, Pop-ups From Prague, made headlines in the New York Times. When the exhibit traveled to the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, it also was a big hit.

Pop-ups at the University of Rochester, Springing to Life: Movable Books & Mechanical Devices, has been extended beyond August 17, 2012
This exhibit, which The Popuplady journeyed to see, is a wonderful presentation of the history of pop-ups. Curator, Leah Hamilton, has done a superlative and innovative job and gives the viewer much to see and play with. This show is a visual delight and has been well covered by the media.
